Midfielder played for Weston FC of MLS Next
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of freshman midfielder Felipe Diniz (Weston, Fla.).
"Felipe is coming to us from Weston Academy in MLS Next," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He is technical, creative and versatile across the front line. He is very intelligent in possession, works hard out of possession, and we're excited to see how he grows within our system and program. We're happy for the opportunity to work with him for four years and look forward to him impacting our group in a meaningful way."
Diniz was a member of Weston FC of MLS Next from 2020-25. The team advanced to the quarterfinals of the 2024 playoffs and qualified for the 2025 playoffs.
Diniz graduated from Cypress Bay High School in 2025.
The Wildcats will start the season at home versus Boston University on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 3 p.m.
