Matteo Piccardo scores his first collegiate goal
KALAMAZOO, Mich. – Senior back Matteo Piccardo (Genova, Italy) scored his first collegiate goal, but the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to Western Michigan, 2-1, on Monday afternoon at WMU Soccer Complex.
The Wildcats fall to 0-3-1, while the Broncos improve to 1-3-0.

- Piccardo scored his first collegiate goal in the 40th minute (39:59) when he knocked in a pass by freshman Xahvi DeRoza (Warwick, Bermuda) from five yards out. The assist by DeRoza was the first point of his collegiate career.

- The Broncos tied the match at 1-1 in the 65th minute (64:12) when Jonathan Stout fired a free kick from 25 yards out to the lower right corner of the net.
- Then in the 74th minute (73:49), Roni Sylejmani blasted a shot from eight yards out to the lower left side of the goal for the game winner.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
