Khodri earned First Team All-Big South and Second Team All-Region accolades
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of junior forward Elias Khodri (Lyon, France). Khodri, who is a transfer from Gardner-Webb, will join the team this spring.
"Elias is an exciting attacking player who we are thrilled to join us this January," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He has the ability to create for others and himself, he's very elusive on the ball, and has a real presence in the box. He scored nine goals last year for Gardner-Webb, where he was First Team All-Conference and Second Team All-Region, helping lead the Bulldogs to the second round of the NCAA Tournament. He has versatility and experience that will allow him to impact our group from day one."
Khodri played the 2024 season at Gardner-Webb where he led the team with nine goals and 19 points as he also posted one assist. He earned First Team All-Big South honors and was selected to the All-South Region Second Team. The Bulldogs defeated Oregon State in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament.
Prior to his time at Gardner-Webb, Khodri was a member of the men's soccer team at Northeastern Junior College for two seasons as he posted 11 goals and 13 assists for 35 points. He tallied eight goals and six assists for 22 points during the 2023 season when he was team captain. Khodri recorded three goals and seven assists for 13 points as a freshman in 2022. He was named the Team MVP in 2023 and earned First Team All-Region accolades.
He graduated from Lycee Lumiere High School in 2022.
The Wildcats concluded the season with a 7-3-7 overall record and a 4-1-2 mark in the conference. UNH won its sixth straight regular season championship. This was the first time in conference history that a team has won six straight.
The 2025 Spring season schedule will be announced at a later date.
