Preuss and Khodri score for the ‘Cats
DURHAM, N.H. – With the game tied at 1-1, senior forward Elias Khodri (Lyon, France) scored the game winner in the 74th minute as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated Dartmouth, 2-1, on Saturday evening at Wildcat Stadium. Freshman back Laurin Preuss (Kirchheim Teck, Germany) recorded his first collegiate goal early in the second half to give the Wildcats a 1-0 lead.
The Wildcats improve to 1-4-3, while the Big Green fall to 1-2-3.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Wildcats took the first shot on goal in the 16th minute when graduate student midfielder Matteo Brossel (Toulon, France) blasted a free kick from 20 yards out towards the upper right corner of the net, but Konstantinos Dellas made a diving save to keep the ball out of the goal.
- UNH outshot the Big Green, 4-1, during the first half.
- The Wildcats took a 1-0 lead when Preuss sent a header to the left side of the net off a corner kick by freshman midfielder Felipe Diniz (Weston, Fla.) in the 47th minute (46:39).

- The Big Green tied the match at 1-1 in the 72nd minute (71:14) with a goal by James Wilson as he fired a shot to the upper middle of the net from 18 yards out.
- But just 2:16 later, Khodri scored the game winner as he sent a shot from 12 yards out to the lower right corner of the net. Senior midfielder Terry Makedika (Paris, France) and sophomore back Arian Recinos (Stamford, Conn.) each posted an assist on the goal.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- UNH outshot Dartmouth, 14-6, while the Wildcats posted seven shots on goal and the Big Green took two.
- The Wildcats took seven corner kicks and the Big Green posted one attempt.
- Graduate student Claudio Fuentealba (Rancagua, Chile) made one save for UNH, while Dellas recorded one in the first half and T.J. Jeffreys tallied four in the second half.
BEYOND THE BOXSCORE:
- UNH is now 66-8-13 all-time at Wildcat Stadium, outscoring the opposition, 160-38.
- The Wildcats are now 17-23-8 all-time versus the Big Green.
- The assist by Diniz was his first collegiate point.
