Scott Williams earns first UNH shutout with four saves
DURHAM, N.H. – Graduate student goalkeeper Scott Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio) earned his first shutout as a UNH Wildcat as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team tied Colgate, 0-0, on Sunday night at Wildcat Stadium.
The 'Cats are now 0-1-1, while the Raiders are 1-0-1.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
· The 'Cats took the first shot on goal in the second minute when senior forward Elias Khodri (Lyon, France) fired a shot from 25 yards out that was saved by Eric Widrick.
· UNH earned a strong goal scoring opportunity in the 45th minute but Widrick made back-to-back saves on shots by senior back Matteo Piccardo (Genova, Italy) and freshman forward Xahvi DeRoza (Warwick, Bermuda).
· For the first half, the Wildcats outshot the Raiders 7-5, UNH had five shots on goal and the Raiders posted two.
· Each team took two shots on goal in the second half but were unable to find the back of the net for the 0-0 tie.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
· UNH outshot Colgate, 12-8, while the Wildcats had seven shots on goal and the Raiders posted four.
· Each team attempted one corner kick.
· Williams made four saves for UNH, while Widrick recorded seven for the Raiders.
