THE MATCHUP WITH VERMONT
- The Wildcats defeated the Catamounts 2-0 on Thursday evening to improve to 2-0-0 in conference
- An own goal and a free-kick rebound from Gaby Dorsey were the Wildcats' method of offense.
- Mia Neas posted her fourth shutout of the season with five saves.

- This will be the 19th meeting of the Wildcats and the Great Danes.
- UNH holds the advantage in the all-time record with a 10-7-1 record against Albany.
- Their last matchup was October 30, 2016 when the 'Cats traveled to Albany for the America East semi-final, but fell 1-0 to the Great Danes.
- UNH opens conference play with a 1-0-0 home record, 5-0-0 overall at home.

- UNH was selected third in the America East Preseason Coaches' Poll that was released Aug. 9. Hartford and Albany were picked ahead of the Wildcats in the nine-team league.
- UNH opened the season with a 3-0-0 record for the first time since 1991, on their way to their first non-conference winning record since 2005.
- New Hampshire's 6-3-0 non-conference record is the best in program history.
- UNH's 8-3-0 record is their best through 11 games since 1991, when the 'Cats went 8-2-1.
- Senior captain Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.), the two-time reigning America East Striker of the Year, has tallied 14 points on six goals and two assists this season.
- Kaylan Williams (Marion, Ind.) follows behind Murphy in the point total with seven points (3g, 1a). Williams notched the game-winning goals against Colorado State and conference foe Binghamton.
- Junior midfielder Gaby Dorsey (Hubertus, Wis.) tallied a game-winning goal in the season opener, and the first goal of the conference part of the schedule against Binghamton. Her most recent goal at Vermont puts her at three goals and six points on the season.
- Francesca Picicci (North Massapequa, N.Y.) scored her first two career goals against Army in UNH's 2-0 victory. An assist in the victory at Northern Colorado gives her five points on the season.
- Veronica Hardy (North Smithfield, R.I.) has chipped in so far with four points this season (1g, 2a).
- Liz Lane (Porter, Maine) was one of five Wildcats who started all 19 games a year ago and was named to the conference's All-Rookie Team. She tallied two assists in UNH's victory over Binghamton, giving her three total on the season.
- Senior captain Jackie Feraco (Holden, Mass.) is a veteran leader on the backline. In the 2015 season, Feraco played 1788 of a possible 1806 minutes. She assisted on Brooke Murphy's career-record-breaking 39th goal against Northeastern.
- Senior goalkeeper Mia Neas (Old Saybrook, Conn.) has tallied a 8-3-0 record so far in her first starting season, after seeing action in only three games prior to this season. She has made 62 saves, for a .873 save percentage, and 0.82 goals allowed average. She has shut out four teams this season (LIU Brooklyn, Army, Northeastern, Vermont).
MURPHY PUTS HER NAME IN THE RECORD BOOKS
- Brooke Murphy has set two new records this season for the UNH women's soccer program.
- The UNH benchmark of 38 career goals was established by Diane McLoughlin, and stood since 1990. Murphy scored her 39th career goal against Northeastern on September 17, 2017 to set the bar higher.
- The record for career points scored was set by Chiara Best in 2004 when she finished her career with 88 points. With an assist against Vermont on September 28, Brooke Murphy surpassed that mark with 89 career points.
SCOUTING ALBANY
- The Great Danes (Albany, N.Y.) enter the contest with a 3-8-0 overall record, 1-1-0 in conference.
- Albany started the conference schedule at UMBC, where they defeated the Retreivers 3-1. Their most recent contest was a home double-overtime loss to Binghamton, 1-0.
- The Great Danes are 1-0-0 in road conference games this season, 2-5-0 overall.
- Mariah Williams leads the team with three goals for six points on the season.
- Two players on the team have tallied two goals for four points, Vivian Vega and Gina Bracamonte.
- Goalkeeper Andrea Leitner has seen a majority of the action for the Great Danes, she holds a 3-5-0 record with 28 saves and 15 goals allowed on the season, with a .651 save percentage and 18.4 GAA.
- Sophia Chen has also seen action in the net for Albany this season, with a 0-3-0 record, 9 saves, 8 goals allowed, and .529 save%/2.67 GAA.
