HOW IT HAPPENED:
- UNH took a 1-0 lead in the third minute (2:42) when Maier fired a shot from 15 yards out that ricocheted off the right post and went into the back of the net assisted by freshman back Riley Mitza (Tyngsborough, Mass.) and sophomore midfielder Brooke Pearson (Plainville, Conn).

- NJIT brought the score to 1-1 in the 10th minute (9:30) when Mikayla Balio sent a ball into the box that deflected off a UNH defender to Kirra Hyder who knocked it in from six yards out to the center of the net.
- The Wildcats took a 2-1 lead in the 41st minute (40:11) when freshman forward Amber Clarke (Cato, N.Y) passed the ball to Grenz who controlled it then sent a low shot straight to the back of the net.

- Briana Andreoli scored in the 87th minute (86:40) on a header from three yards out assisted by Maria Nogueira bringing the game to a 2-2 tie.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- NJIT outshot UNH, 9-7, with both the Highlanders and Wildcats tallied five shots on goal.
- The Wildcats attempted two corner kicks and the Highlanders took 10.
- Junior goalie Sonja Zeepvat (Mendham, N.J.) totaled three saves, while Enya Carthy also made two saves.

- The goal by Maier was her third of the season.
- Grenz's goal was her first of the year.
