Molly Wotton joined the UNH volleyball staff as an assistant coach in July 2021.
Wotton, a native of neighboring Dover, N.H., was a middle blocker and outside hitter for the Wildcats spanning the 2014-18 seasons. New Hampshire won both the America East regular-season and tournament titles and advanced to the NCAA tourney in the 2014-16 seasons. During that span, the ‘Cats won 20+ matches every season with an aggregate record of 62-32 (.660 winning percentage) that included 32-4 in America East (.889 winning percentage).
Wotton has been a coach with NH Seacoast Junior Olympics Volleyball since January 2020. During this time, she has coached 11 girls to develop their technical athletic skills and improve the mental and physical aspects of the game. Wotton had previous coaching stints with NH Seacoast Junior Olympics Volleyball in 2016 and 2018.
Last fall, she was an assistant with the Dover High School girls volleyball team.
Wotton’s other coaching experience includes UNH’s summer volleyball camps from 2015-18 and NH Seacoast Volleyball clinics for three years. She has also worked as a volunteer and coach at the Special Olympics for 10 years. Wotton was head coach of the Dover High School Special Olympics unified team in spring 2021.
Wotton graduated from UNH with a B.S. in Recreations Management and Policy in May 2019. She has worked as a paraprofessional educator in the Dover School District since February 2020 and is teaching first grade in summer school (2021).
