The seven-member class consists of four freshmen, two sophomores, and a redshirt sophomore.
DURHAM, N.H. — The University of New Hampshire volleyball program, led by head coach Christopher Feliciano, announced on Friday (April 24) the addition of seven new members for the 2026 season.
"We cannot wait to turn the page to 2026. While our 2025 season was very competitive in many aspects, I don't think anyone in our gym was happy with the results," shared Coach Feliciano, "Between the players coming in and the growth of our current group this past Spring, the staff and I are expecting better results in the upcoming season. I believe our current group has done a tremendous job in developing their dynamic relationships and bringing back the culture that won us a championship in 2024."
The seven-member class all hail from the United States, with two athletes from Illinois, and one each from Georgia, Minnesota, Texas, Washington, and Wisconsin.
Listed below is the full breakdown of each athlete joining the team:
Cecilia Anderson • So. • L/DS • 5'8" • Eau Claire, Wis.
Anderson enters her first year in Durham following a one-year stint at Hofstra University.
Prior to her time in Hempstead, Anderson played for Kokoro Volleyball Club, where she was a three-year varsity player, winning regional championships in three-straight seasons and earning All-Conference Honorable Mention and WVCA All-Academic Award accolades.
"Cecilia adds a ton of value to our libero/DS group. She has the ability to play all three back row positions at a high level, and her first touch has the potential to be elite."
Vivien Affeldt • Fr. • L/DS • 5'9" • Roseville, Minn.
Affeldt enters the college ranks following a successful high school career in Minnesota, where the Roseville native won conference with Minnehaha Academy while serving as a team captain and earning all-conference accolades.
In addition to her conference championship senior season, Affeldt was a four-time all-conference team member, finishing each season in the top-10 in service aces across the state while logging 1000-career digs and 2000-career assists.
"Vivien has the ability to improve our first contact and our second contact. In doing so our team first ball side out ratio should see a jump in proficiency. She played a big role in her high school and club teams success this year, utilizing her vast skill sets."
Avery Albritton • Fr. • RS • 6'2" • Inverness, Ill.
Albritton joins New Hampshire following a successful career with Sky High Volleyball Club in Illinois, where the right side was an integral member of teams that won the regional finals in her junior season and four tournaments in her senior year.
Named to the Junior Volleyball Association Watch List in her final season, Albritton finished her high school career as a three-time All-Conference Team member and a three-time Daily Herald All-Area Team member.
"We love having left-handed right sides in our gym, and I think we have a diamond-in-the-rough athlete who has the ability to score from both the left and right pin. Her development in her blocking will be the key to how much time and opportunity she sees in her freshman year."
Emma Converse • Jr. • OH • 6'1" • San Antonio, Texas
Converse comes to Durham following a two-year tenure at the University of Buffalo, where the outside hitter appeared in 90 sets across 40 matches with the Bulls.
Across her career at Buffalo, the San Antonio native finished with 106 kills, averaging 1.18 per set, while earning eight assists, 13 service aces, 93 digs, including a 1.03 digs/set average, and five blocks for 122.0 points.
Prior to her time at Buffalo, Converse earned First Team All-Conference honors at Deer Creek High School in 2022 and 2023 and was named to the Under Armour All-American Team in 2022.
"When recruiting Emma there were a few things that jumped off the page for me. One, I felt she has a tremendous ceiling for growth, and two, she wanted to work hard and have a positive impact in her new environment. She is extremely competitive and driven to make her mark. She is long, she's got great ball control, and she attacks high with power."
Hady Pickard • R-So. • L • 5'8" • Roswell, Ga.
Pickard joins the Wildcats following her first two seasons at Georgia State, where the Roswell, Ga., native appeared in 71 sets across 25 matches with the Panthers.
Prior to her time at Georgia State, Pickard was a three-year letterwinner at Blessed Trinity Catholic High School, where she was a 2024 Bronze Medal recipient at the USAV 18's Open National Championship.
"Hady spent last season behind the Sun Belt Libero of the Year, where she had the opportunity to grow by competing everyday with one of the best in the NCAA. She comes with a lot of tools in terms of her development. She played for A5 as the starting libero for two years in club and adds to a great group of liberos in our gym, I am thrilled to see what her defensive range will do for our offense. Last season, while we were good defensively, I believe she has the ability to help with our dig per set ratio and lower opponents attack percentage."
Julianne Lee • Fr. • OH • 6'1" • Renton, Wash.
Lee comes to New Hampshire following a high school career that saw the outside hitter earn 230 kills across 48 sets, averaging 4.80 kills per set, while logging seven assists, 52 service aces (1.08/set), 22 blocks, and 144 digs (3.00/set), while also playing with Sudden Impact Volleyball at the club level.
Named as an All-Conference Selection in her sophomore, junior, and senior seasons, Lee finished fifth across Washington in her 2024 season, ranking highest in her high school's history.
Academically, Lee was a four-time recipient of the Liberty High School Scholar Athlete Award while earning National Honor Society and Honor Roll accolades.
"We're really excited about her potential. She has the ability to hit at a high point-of-contact from both pins and is someone who I believe will make everyone in the gym better. She's competitive and extremely coachable and I am excited for what the future holds for her."
Caitlin Leddy • Fr. • S/RS • 5'11" • Hinsdale, Ill.
Leddy enters her first season with the Wildcats after a senior season at Hinsdale Central that saw the setter land 110 kills (1.41/set), 575 assists (7.37/set), 41 service aces, 39 total blocks, and 188 digs (2.41/set) in 78 sets played.
Named to the WSC All-Conference, All-Academic Team, and IVCA Second Team All-State in her senior season, Leddy finished her high school career ninth all-time in both career digs and career blocks and third all-time in career assists with 1091.
"Caitlin is a premier athlete with a work ethic that will push others in our gym to be better. She has the ability to set and block at a high point of contact, while also being able to hit on the right side with a high point of contact. She has been committed to us for a while and we have had the opportunity to watch her grow right in front of us. We expect for her to come in and compete for an opportunity right away."
