UNH Receives Two AVCA Academic Team Awards

LEXINGTON, Ky. – The University of New Hampshire volleyball team that won the 2024 America East championship to advance to the NCAA tournament earned a 2025 American Volleyball Coaches Aassociation Team Academic Award, sponsored by INTENT, as well as additional distinction to the Team Academic Honor Roll.
This is the fifth consecutive year and 11th time overall UNH has received an AVCA Team Academic Award, which recognizes collegiate and high school volleyball teams that maintain a year-long GPA of 3.30 or higher.
The Wildcats recorded a team GPA of 3.61 in the fall semester and 3.78 in the spring for an aggregate team GPA of 3.71 in the 2024-25 academic year.
It is the second consecutive year New Hampshire is named to the Team Academic Honor Roll, which celebrates teams in the top 20 percent of its respective division. UNH is the only America East conference school on the 2025 Team Academic Honor Roll.
America East recently announced its Academic Honor Roll – 18 of 19 student-athletes on UNH's conference championship team was honored with a breakdown of 14 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and four on the Honor Roll.
