104 'Cats Named to America East Fall 2025 Academic Honor Roll

BOSTON – A total of 104 University of New Hampshire student-athletes in six fall-sponsored America East sports were named to a conference Academic Honor Roll in the Fall 2025 semester. Of that total, 74 earned recognition on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and 30 were named to the Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognizes student-athletes who recorded a GPA of 3.50 or higher, and those with a GPA between 3.0 and 3.49 are named to the Honor Roll. The qualifying GPA is the semester in which that sport's conference championship is played.
Overall, a conference-record 927 student-athletes in fall sports had a 3.0 or higher GPA in the Fall 2025 semester – of which 680 had a 3.50 or higher GPA. For UNH, 18 percent of the Wildcats recorded a perfect 4.0 GPA (22 of 123), 60 percent made the Commissioner's Honor Roll and 85 percent were named to an Academic Honor Roll.
The UNH women's cross country team was one of nine conference teams to have 100 percent of its student-athletes on the Academic Honor Roll, and 11 of those 13 Wildcats (85%) made the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
New Hampshire's America East championship field hockey team placed 15 of 23 players on the Commissioner's Honor Roll – including five 'Cats with a perfect 4.0 GPA – and had a total of 19 players honored.
The UNH men's cross country team placed 14 of 15 runners (93%) on the Academic Honor Roll and that included 11 'Cats on the Commissioner's Honor Roll (73%).
Ninety percent (18 of 20) of the volleyball team received academic recognition with 14 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and five 'Cats with a 4.0 GPA.
A total of 22 women's soccer players – 81 percent of the team – received academic recognition with 14 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and eight on the Honor Roll.
The men's soccer team had an even split of nine Wildcats on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and nine on the Honor Roll for a total of 18 honorees.
America East is proud to have one of most comprehensive academic awards programs in the country, which honors over two-thirds of its student-athletes for their success in the classroom, including its sports Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic honorees, Presidential Scholar-Athletes and its Honor Roll Elite 18 recipients.
