Buckrell Named EISA Alpine Skier of the Week

DURHAM, N.H. – Freshman Jayden Buckrell (Collingwood, ON, Canada) of the University of New Hampshire ski team was named the men's EISA Alpine Skier of the Week.
He earned his first collegiate podium, helping lead the Wildcats to a second place team finish at the Saint Michael's Carnival.
Buckrell placed third in the Slalom (1:55.86, 47 points) and added a 10th-place result in the GS (1:50.12, 30 points).
The UNH ski team is back in action at the Dartmouth Carnival Feb. 7-8. Alpine races will be held at Dartmouth Skiway, while Nordic events will take place at Oakhill Nordic Center.
