America East Semifinals Next at Albany (Oct. 30; 4 PM)

DURHAM, N.H. – The No. 4 University of New Hampshire women's soccer team travels to No. 1 University at Albany in the America East semifinal matchup on Sunday Oct. 30 (4 PM) at Bob Ford Field.
Playoff Facts
Last time the 'Cats and Great Danes met in the America East tournament was in 2010 when the Danes won 2-1 at home. This will be the second time in program history that UNH will play the Great Danes in the playoffs.
This is the third consecutive year the Wildcats earned a spot in the postseason. UNH has qualified for the AE Tournament in 14 of the last 15 seasons, dating back to 2001.
This is the 10th time UNH will play in the America East semifinals going back to 1994. The most recent was in the championship year of 2014, before that – 2007.

Senior Co-Captain Lilly Radack (Madbury, N.H.) scored her first career goal that turned out to be the game winner. The 'Cats played strong team defense only allowing the Black Bears to get off three shots and one on net. Senior Borkan made the save in the 83rd minute and earned her fifth shutout of the season.

Redshirt junior Kiana Rugar started the scoring for the Great Danes and senior Alexa Schneider added the insurance goal. Sophomore Caroline Kopp, sophomore Mariah Williams, and freshman Meghan Cavanaugh each added an assist. Redshirt freshman goalkeeper Chloe Borasky made five saves. As the one seed, the Great Danes earned a bye in the first round of the tournament.
Who to look for: Cavanaugh and Schneider top the Danes in points with 12 (4 goals, 4 assist). Rugar is right behind with 11 (4 goals, 3 assist). Kopp leads the team with 6 assist.
