William Ulrich, a junior from Mineola, N.Y., placed fourth in the 1,500-meter run and ran a leg in the second-place 4x800m relay for the UNH men's track & field team at the America East Outdoor Track & Field Championships that were held May 5-6 at UMBC.
William crossed the 1,500m finish line in 3 minutes, 51.85 seconds. The Wildcats' 4x800m relay finished with an aggregate time of 7:36.11. He was part of UNH's winning 4x800m relay squad in 2016 and 2017.
Two weeks prior to the conference meet, William was runner-up in the 1,500m at the Jay Carisella Coaches Invitational with a time of 3:53.17.
