Women’s Soccer Earns United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award

‘Cats posted a 3.47 GPA for the 2024-25 academic year
KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team received a United Soccer Coaches Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year for recording a team GPA of 3.47.
A team must record a GPA of 3.0 or higher for the academic year to earn this award.
The Wildcats were outstanding academically in 2024-25 as Chloe DeLyser (Marion, N.Y.), Meghan Guarente (Sewell, N.J.), Anna Hewlett (Webster, N.Y.), Megan Logue (Oak Hills, Calif.) and Sally Rainey (West Lebanon, N.H.) graduated as America East Presidential Scholar-Athletes for earning an undergraduate degree in the 2024-25 academic year with a cumulative GPA of 3.75 or higher.
Guarente and Rainey received United Soccer Coaches All-America Second Team accolades. Also DeLyser, Guarente, Hewlett, Logue, Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Rainey were named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team. Guarente and Rainey were also selected to the America East All-Academic Team.
Rainey was nominated for the NCAA and America East Woman of the Year awards.
Twenty-six members of the team were recognized for their academic achievement by being named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for posting a GPA of 3.0 or higher during the Fall semester. Overall, 87 percent of the team earned a spot on the honor roll.
Giovanna Castorina (Sewell, N.J.) and Maier led the 'Cats as each posted a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Fall 2024 semester.
The Wildcats will open the 2025 season at Boston University on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m., followed by the home opener at Wildcat Stadium versus Stonehill on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m.
