Twenty-six Wildcats Earn America East Academic Honor Roll Accolades

20 'Cats named to Commissioner’s Honor Roll
BOSTON – Twenty-six members of the 2024 University of New Hampshire women's soccer team have been recognized for their academic achievement by being named to the America East Academic Honor Roll.
A total of 20 Wildcats earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll, while six were named to the Honor Roll. Overall, 87 percent of the team received one of the academic honors.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a fall semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a fall semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
Giovanna Castorina (Sewell, N.J.) and Abbi Maier (Cincinnati, Ohio) led the 'Cats as each posted a perfect 4.00 GPA in the Fall 2024 semester and earned a spot on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Grace Burcaw (Nazareth, Pa.), Caroline Cohen (South Glastonbury, Conn.), Ginny Delacruz (Fairfax, Va.), Chloe DeLyser (Marion, N.Y.), Madison Donati (Pacifica, Calif.), Ally Giovino (Westford, Mass.), Meghan Guarente (Sewell, N.J.), Summer Haarala (Framingham, Mass.), Anna Hewlett (Webster, N.Y.), Delaney Lappin (Corbin City, N.J.), Megan Logue (Oak Hills, Calif.), Molly McHugh (Tyngsboro, Mass.), Brooke Pearson (Plainville, Conn.), Sally Rainey (West Lebanon, N.H.), Brooke Samborski (Chicopee, Mass.), Ava VanBuskirk (Marlborough, Mass.), Jules Vano (Yorktown Heights, N.Y.) and Beth Winnor (Hidden Valley, Pa.) were also named to the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Delaney Diltz (San Diego, Calif.), Elaina Grenz (River Edge, N.J.), Lily Johnson (Wyckoff, N.J.), Maddie Kolb (Tolland, Conn.), Lydia Poulin (West Hartford, Conn.) and Lilly Vermilya (Framingham, Mass.) received Honor Roll recognition.
This year 82 percent of student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2024 fall semester or 2025 spring semesters. A total of 58 percent of student-athletes and 2,047 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better. It is a 5% increase from the 2023-24 academic year and all nine schools achieved over 50%. Overall, 2,927 America East student-athletes were named to the Academic Honor Roll in 2024-25.
The Wildcats will open the 2025 season at Boston University on Sunday, Aug. 17 at 1 p.m., followed by the home opener at Wildcat Stadium versus Stonehill on Thursday, Aug. 21 at 6 p.m.
