Lappin Leads New Hampshire Past UAlbany

DURHAM, N.H. – Graduate forward Delaney Lappin (Corbin City, N.J.) scored the game-winning goal to lead the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team to a 1-0 victory over UAlbany on Thursday evening at Wildcat Stadium.
The Wildcats defense stifled the Great Danes, not allowing a single shot on target to earn the clean sheet. UAlbany goalkeeper Emily Dorfman made 14 saves.
The Wildcats improve to 8-2-1 on the season and 3-0 in the America East, while the Great Danes fall to 1-9-1 overall and 0-2-1 in conference play.
