Wildcats Return Home to Face Yale (Dec. 11, 1 p.m.)

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball returns home to start a three-game home-stand and take on Yale University on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. in Lundholm Gymnasium.

THE STATE OF NEW HAMPSHIRE
The Wildcats have won five consecutive games with their 77-67 win over Siena College on Tuesday (12/6). UNH and Siena were tied at the end of the first quarter 16-16. By the end of the first half, Siena had opened up a 37-29 lead. UNH started to comeback and had a 21-13 edge to tie the game up at the end of the third period 50-50. With the game tied 57-57 in the fourth quarter, Brittni Lai went to the line to lead Siena by one and UNH kept the lead the rest of the game. Lai scored 25 points against Siena and now averages 16 points per game. Junior Carlie Pogue totaled 18 points and six rebounds on Tuesday, keeping her in first place of America East with 8 rebounds per game.
