Taylor Dudek, a freshman from Amherst, N.H., recorded five ground balls and four caused turnovers to help lead the UNH women's lacrosse team to a 16-6 win against Hartford on March 30.
Taylor tallied four GBs and three CTOs in the first half, when the Wildcats limited Hartford to one goal on one shot.
With the Wildcats holding a double-digit lead a majority of the second half, Taylor saw limited playing time after halftime.
With UNH leading 5-0, Dudek’s caused turnover on a stick check and ground ball immediately led to a Wildcats’ goal on the other end of the field.
With New Hampshire ahead 9-1, another CTO and GB by Dudek led to another Wildcat goal.
UNH (7-3 overall, 2-0 America East) is off to its best start through 10 games since the 2010 squad was also 7-3. The Wildcats return to action April 3 (4 p.m.) at UMass Lowell.
