BOSTON – Twenty student-athletes on the 2025 University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team were named to the America East Academic Honor Roll for the Spring 2025 season with a breakdown of 14 on the Commissioner's Honor Roll and six on the Honor Roll.
That calculates to 80 percent of the roster being honored and 56 percent on the Commissioner's Honor Roll.
Commissioner's Honor Roll recognition is awarded to student-athletes with a fall semester GPA of 3.50 or higher, while Honor Roll accolades are bestowed to student-athletes who recorded a spring semester GPA between 3.0-3.49.
Six players – Allie Connerty (Norwell, Mass.), Regan Giblin (Chicago, Ill.), Maria Hagan (Downers Grove, Ill.), Abby Hawkes (Amherst, N.H.), Paige Kenny (Kensington, Md.) and Ellie Thomas (Needham, Mass.) – led the 12 'Cats on the Commissioner's Honor Roll with a perfect 4.0 GPA in the Spring 2025 semester.
Those laxers are joined on the Commissioner's Honor Roll by Libby Boland (Victor, N.Y.), Eva de Matteis (New Boston, N.H.), Erin Fagan (Clarksburg, Md.), Mia Gialto (Syracuse, N.Y.), Makayla Keys (Fairport, N.Y.), Kate O'Rourke (Franklin, Mass.), Sydney Sventy (Lumberton, N.J.) and Delaney True (Windham, N.H.).
The six 'Cats on the Honor Roll are Piper Boudreau (Chelmsford, Mass.), Charlize Collins (Burlington, Mass.), Kendall Donovan (Westford, Mass.), Dale Meskill (Keller, Texas), Rose Pavuk (York, Maine) and Sarah Zwack (Weston, Conn.).
In the 2024-25 academic year, 2,927 student-athletes who competed in America East sponsored sports earned Honor Roll recognition for achieving at least a 3.0 GPA during the 2024 fall semester or 2025 spring semester – that calculates to 82 percent of all eligible student-athletes.
In total, 58 percent of student-athletes and 2,047 in total earned Commissioner's Honor Roll status for registering a GPA of 3.5 or better.
America East is proud to have one of most comprehensive academic awards programs in the country, which honors over two-thirds of its student-athletes for their success in the classroom, including its sports Scholar-Athletes and All-Academic Team honorees, Presidential Scholar-Athletes, Elite 18 recipients and Academic/Commissioner's Honor Roll.
