UNH returns to Wildcat Stadium to face NJIT on October 25 for Senior Night
DURHAM, N.H. – Three different Catamounts found the back of the net as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to No. 7 Vermont, 3-0, on Saturday evening at Wildcat Stadium in America East action.
The Wildcats fall to 3-6-4 (1-2-1 AE), while the Catamounts improve to 9-0-5 (3-0-1 AE).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The first shot on goal of the game was taken by Nicolas Loebus in the fourth minute from 25 yards out, leading to a save by senior goalkeeper Scott Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio).
- The Catamounts broke the deadlock in the 37th minute (36:21) when Loebus slotted the ball into the bottom right corner from 12 yards out, assisted by David Ismail.
- Vermont extended the lead in the 48th minute (47:57) after Chavez rounded Williams to set up Ismail for the finish.
- The lead increased to 3-0 in the 70th minute (69:13) after Andrew Millar placed the ball in the bottom left corner from 10 yards out.
- In the 73rd minute, junior midfielder Ryo Miyata (Yokohama, Japan) came close to grabbing one back for the Wildcats, but the freekick toward the bottom-left corner was saved.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Vermont outshot UNH, 9-6, while the Catamounts posted six shots on goal, and the Wildcats attempted one.
