BEFORE UNH:
- Played at Iowa Western Community College (2014, 2015).
- In two seasons played at defense, Velazquez helped the Reivers to a 40-2-6 record.
- He was a two-time Conference, District and Regional champion and was named a NJCAA All-Tournament Team selection as well as an Academic All-America First Team honoree.
- Played club soccer for the San Jose Earthquakes Academy team.
