Men’s Soccer Signs Romeo Corino

Sophomore back is a transfer from Trinity University
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has announced the signing of sophomore back Romeo Corino (Monaco).
"Romeo joins us after one season at Division III National Runner-Up Trinity University in Texas, where he made 19 appearances," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "He is a dynamic left-sided defender who brings energy going forward, the ability to take players on 1v1 and quality from both the run of play and set pieces. Technically clean and a great fit for our style, Romeo has the drive to become the best version of himself. We're excited to have him on that journey with us here in Durham."
Corino played the 2025 season at Trinity University where he appeared in 19 games as the team were the NCAA D3 National runner ups and SAA regular season champions. He earned SAA Academic Honor Roll accolades.
Prior to college, Corino won the 2024 Prep National Championship at Woodstock Academy as he posted three goals and eight assists for 14 points.
Corino also played for AS Monaco FC from 2019-24 where he was a team captain in 2023-24 and recorded six goals and 17 assists for 29 points that season. The team captured the Regional Championship in 2023-24.
