Men’s Soccer Falls to #6 Bryant, 2-0; ‘Cats to Play UMBC at Home in AE First Round

UNH will be No. 4 seed in the America East Championship
DURHAM, N.H. – Paco Fernandez and Jaime Amaro each scored for the Bulldogs as the University of New Hampshire men's soccer team fell to No. 6 Bryant 2-0, on Tuesday evening at Wildcat stadium in the regular season finale for both teams.
With today's results, the Wildcats will be the No. 4 seed in the America East Championship and play No. 5 seed UMBC at Wildcat Stadium on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 3 p.m. on ESPN+.

Ticket prices are $14 for adults and $8 for youth. The first 100 UNH undergrad students get in free, while tickets will be $4 for UNH and college students there after with a valid student ID at the window on game day.
The Wildcats fall to 5-7-4 (3-3-1 AE), while the Bulldogs improve to 15-1-2 (6-1-0 AE).

HOW IT HAPPENED:
- The Bulldogs took a 1-0 lead in the seventh minute (6:55) when Fernandez fired a one-timer from 15 yards out into the lower left corner of the net off a pass from Amaro.
- In the 16th minute (15:11), Amaro placed a shot from the right sideline into the lower left side of the net and extended the lead 2-0.
- Neither team scored in the second half as Bryant posted the 2-0 win.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Bryant outshot UNH, 9-8, while the Bulldogs had four shots on goal and the Wildcats posted five.
- The Bulldogs recorded four corner kicks and the Wildcats took one.
- Senior goalkeeper Scott Williams (Cincinnati, Ohio) made two saves, while Enzo Carvalho earned the win and shutout with five saves.
