DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team has announced the addition of junior transfer Chloe DeLyser (Marion, N.Y.) to the roster for the upcoming 2023 season.
DeLyser spent her last two seasons at The Ohio State University in Columbus, Ohio. The forward played a total of 32 games for the Buckeyes. She scored two goals in her time there, one of them being a game winning goal against Bowling Green on August 26, 2021.
"We are very excited at the arrival of Chloe. Not only does she bring "Power 5" conference experience, more importantly she brings the ability to create, combine and score in the final third. She is dynamic, technical and can play in a variety of positions. She is good back to goal and can link in the midfield. On top of that she is a very good finisher inside and around the box. We look forward to Chloe's presence and personality on and off the field and we are also excited about the fact she has three years of eligibility remaining. We officially welcome Chloe to Wildcat Country, and we are very happy she is here!"
While at Ohio State, she was named to the Academic All-Big Ten Team three times and was recognized as an OSU Scholar-Athlete twice.
DeLyser attended Marion High School and became a very decorated player. She was named NYS Gatorade Player of the Year twice, Wayne County Player of the Year all four years, United Soccer Coaches High School All-American, ECNL Ohio Valley First Team three years and All-Conference First Team twice. She finished her high school career with 336 goals and 155 assists.
