DURHAM, N.H. – Senior Antonio Colacci (Bradenton, Fla.) and freshman Rory O'Driscoll (Minneapolis, Minn.) led the Wildcat offense as the No. 15 University of New Hampshire men's soccer team defeated the Binghamton Bearcats on Friday night in the America East conference opener with a 2-0 win. Colacci posted three points with a goal and an assist, while O'Driscoll netted one goal.
The Wildcats remain undefeated on the season, improving to 7-0-2 overall and 1-0-0 in America East, while the Bearcats fall to 2-5-1 overall and 0-1-0 in the conference. UNH is 24-1-3 all-time at Wildcat Stadium. The Wildcats have outscored their opponents 50-10 over the 28 games played at the stadium.

In the 12th minute (11:05), Colacci secured the first goal of the game from 20 yards out to the upper right corner, that ricocheted off of the post before going in. Senior Jack Doherty (Meriden, N.H.) to put the 'Cats up 1-0.
Graduate student Kyle Brewster (New Hampton, N.H.) skimmed a shot to the goal in the 14th minute to the lower center of the net, but it was saved by Binghamton goalkeeper Mats Roorda.
Also in the 14th minute, junior Linus Fallberg (Jonkoping, Sweden) sent a shot to the lower right corner of the net, but it was then called back due to an offsides penalty on the Wildcats.
Freshman Bilal Kamal (London, England) then dodged around Roorda in the 21st minute and drove the ball just wide of the lower left corner.
In the 38th minute, O'Driscoll slammed a shot to the lower right corner of the net off of a rebound shot by Colacci, who received a cross net pass from graduate student Fabian Lutz (Bad Gröenenbach, Germany) to increase the lead to 2-0.
The Wildcats outshot the Bearcats by a 10-2 margin in the first half, with four shots on goal for UNH.
In the start of the second half, Kamal passed the ball to Lutz in the 48th minute, who fired a shot to the low center of the net, but it was blocked by Roorda.
Junior Jacob Gould (Exeter, N.H.) sent a shot to the lower right of the goal off of a cross field pass from Lutz in the 84th minute to just miss the goal.
The Wildcats clinched the shutout with a final score of 2-0.

INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
UNH outshot Binghamton, 18-5, while the Wildcats posted six shots on goal and the Bearcats posted three.
The 'Cats took eight corner kicks while the Bearcats took four.
Robles finished the game with three saves to post his fourth shutout of the season and improve to 6-0-2, and Binghamton goalkeepers Roorda (2-5-1) and Parker finished with two saves a piece.

Colacci has posted three goals in the past three games, and he leads the team with nine points.
O'Driscoll now has two career goals.
UNH has five shutouts on the season and have outscored its opposition by a 17-5 margin.
