- Issy Torres held the Bearcats scoreless the final 14:25 of the game; she made three saves in that span and finished the game with nine stops.

Senior Scoring
- Senior attacker Catherine Sexton is tied atop the team leaderboard in both assists (10) and points (29); she is tied for second in goals (19).
- Sexton has scored 19 goals on 27 shots for a team-high .704 shooting percentage that ranks No. 3 in the nation.
- Sexton tallied five goals and two assists at Central Connecticut State (March 1) to finish with career highs in both goals and points (seven).
- She tallied two assists in three consecutive games spanning Feb. 23–March 3.
- Sexton has recorded multiple points 8 of 9 games with five multiple-goal efforts.
- Also of note, Sexton ranks fourth in ground balls with 11.
Back With a Vengeance
- Both senior Devan Miller and junior Rylee Leonard were sidelined by injury in 2018 and both have been significant point producers this season – Leonard is tied for first in points with 29 and Miller ranks third with 27.
- Miller leads the team in goals (22) and is fourth in assists (five).
- Miller recorded three points each of the first five games of the season before increasing that total to a career-high five points at Kennesaw State; her four goals also marked a personal best, which she matched vs. Iona College.
- Miller scored multiple goals seven consecutive games spanning Feb. 22 to March 17.
- Miller has a team-high 49 shots.
- Leonard is tied for the team lead in assists (10) and points (29); she is tied for second in goals (19).
- In other stats, she is second in shots (45), tied for third in draw controls (nine) and tied for fourth in ground balls (11).
- Leonard has an eight-game goal scoring streak with six straight multiple-goal games, including a career-high four at Kennesaw State (March 10).
- Leonard recorded a career-high five points (2g, 3a) vs. Iona on March 17.
- Leonard established a personal best of three assists at UConn (Feb. 24) and matched that at Iona.
Immediate Impact
- Senior attacker Mickenzie Larivee, a transfer from Boston University, has made an immediate impact on the 'Cat attack.
- Larivee ranks fourth in both goals (13) and points (16). She has multiple points in 5 of 9 games with two multiple-goal efforts.
- Larivee recorded a point each of her first five games as a Wildcat.
- Larivee netted her 100th career goal – 11th as a Wildcat – March 3 at Fairfield.
- Larivee scored three goals in her UNH debut vs. Harvard on Feb. 16. She reached the career 100-point milestone with the last of those three tallies.
- Larivee fueled UNH's second-half surge at Sacred Heart with five goals.
Getting Possession
- Freshman defender Meghan Doyle leads the 'Cats in ground balls (21) and is second in caused turnovers (10).
- Senior captain Elise Chandler has a team-high 14 caused turnovers and ranks second in ground balls (18).
- Sophomore Caroline Hernon is atop UNH's leaderboard in draw controls (30); she is also third in both ground balls (15) and caused turnovers (nine).
- Freshman Delaney Pratt is second in draw controls with 23.
Defensive Spotlight
- Senior captain Elise Chandler has produced solid numbers as she leads UNH in caused turnovers (14) and is tied for second in ground balls (21).
- She finished with a career-high four caused turnovers and matched her personal best of four draw controls vs. Iona.
- Chandler recorded three caused turnovers in the opener vs. Harvard and matched that at Vanderbilt. She established a career-high four ground balls at UConn.
- Chandler has at least one GB every game with six multiple-GB efforts. She has a caused turnover in 6 of 9 games.
- Freshman Meghan Doyle has been consistent despite her youth with multiple ground balls every game played (8 GP) and a caused turnover in 7 of 8. She recorded four GBs and one CTO in her collegiate debut vs. Harvard. Doyle has corralled three ground balls three times and has tallied a high of two caused turnovers three times, most recently vs. Iona.
- Senior Jessica Lee made her season debut March 1 at Central Connecticut State. In six games (all starts), she has nine ground balls and four caused turnovers. Lee recorded a career-high five ground balls at CCSU.
- Freshman Abby Cranney had a breakout weekend Feb. 22 & 24. She recorded three ground balls both games against Sacred Heart and UConn. She also had four draw controls, one caused turnover and a goal at SHU.
- In nine games (two starts), Cranney has nine ground balls, nine draw controls and three caused turnovers.
- Taylor Dudek, yet another freshman, came off the bench in the opener but started both games the weekend of Feb. 22-24; Dudek also got the start last Saturday vs. Binghamton.
- She tallied two ground balls and a caused turnover at Sacred Heart, then one of each at UConn.In the March 13 game at Vandy, Dudek finished with two GB and two CTO. In eight games (three starts), she has six ground balls and five caused turnovers.
Last Line of Defense
- Freshman goalie Issy Torres has started all nine games and played 483:34 of a possible 540 minutes (89.5%). She has a 6-3 record with an 11.42 GAA and .442 save percentage.
- On March 17 vs. Iona, Torres tallied double-digit saves for the third time this season with 10 in the 15-8 win.
- Torres made 14 saves in her collegiate debut vs. Harvard. She also finished with double-digit saves (13) in the 13-12 win at UConn, and that included one with 66 seconds remaining to preserve the one-goal lead.
- Torres stopped 7 of 10 shots on goal in 37:27 of action at Central Connecticut State (March 1).
- Junior goalkeeper Amanda Gottlieb has played 56 minutes, 26 seconds in three games. She has a 7.44 GAA and .364 save percentage. She saw action in the first two games of March (March 1 at CCSU; March 3 at Fairfield).
Free & Clear
- New Hampshire has scored on 21 of 49 free-position shots (42.9%); in comparison, the opponents are 25-for-57 (43.9%).
- Last weekend, the Wildcats scored on 2 of 4 free-position shots and Binghamton converted 3 of 4 free-position shots.
- There were only a total of three free-position shots in the March 13 game at Vanderbilt, and neither team scored as the Wildcats were 0-for-2 and Vandy was 0-for-1.
- In the first weekend of March, the 'Cats got the better of CCSU (5-for 9 in comparison to 0-for-5). But Fairfield was a perfect 5-for-5 in comparison to UNH's 1 of 5.
- New Hampshire has been highly effective on clear attempts. The Wildcats entered the week ranked No. 11 in the nation (89.3%; 142 of 159). Opponents have been slightly less effective at 81.3 percent (139 of 171).
Road Warriors
- New Hampshire played six straight games on the road spanning Feb. 22 to March 13 and went 4-2.
- It was the program's longest streak of consecutive road games since the 1996 team began the year with seven games on the road (1-6 record).
- The 'Cats also played six consecutive road games in 1994.
- The last time UNH played more than three consecutive road games was in the 2013 season (four games spanning Feb. 28 to march 16).
Torres Tabbed America East Rookie of the Week
- Freshman goalkeeper Issy Torres was honored as America East Rookie of the Week on Feb. 25.
- Torres stopped 17 of 33 shots on goal in two road games to record two wins, an 8.87 GAA and .515 save percentage.
- She also corralled three ground balls in both games against Sacred Heart University and UConn.
- Torres stopped 4 of 8 shots on goal at Sacred Heart to earn her first collegiate win. She exited the game with New Hampshire holding a 12-4 lead at 11:49 of the second half.
- Torres made 13 saves, including one with 66 seconds remaining, to backbone UNH to a 13-12 victory at UConn that marked the Wildcats' first win vs. the Huskies since 2014.
Made of Granite
- There are five Granite State natives on New Hampshire's roster, and that includes three Wildcats from Amherst: freshmen Taylor Dudek and Abby Cranney, and senior Mickenzie Larivee.
- Junior Caroline Hernon calls Hampton home.
- Sophomore Gabby Masseur hails from Nashua.
At the Polls
- UNH was selected fourth in the 2019 America East Women's Lacrosse Preseason Poll with 32 points, just behind Binghamton University at 33.
- Stony Brook received 49 points and all seven possible first-place votes; UAlbany tallied 41 points and the other first-place vote.
- UNH was followed by UMBC (28 points), Vermont (20), UMass Lowell (14) and Hartford (7).
Scouting Hartford
- The University of Hartford (West Hartford, Conn.) enters Saturday's game at UNH with a 1-10 overall record, which includes 1-3 on the road.
- The Hawks' one win of the season was on the road against Delaware State by a score of 20-2 on March 18.
- The Hawks are coming off last Saturday's 17-6 loss against Vermont. Vermont came out scoring early with eight goals within the first 10 minutes of the game. The Catamounts extended the margin to double digits, 11-1, at 8:17 of the first half.
- The Hawks average 7.27 goals per game on a .383 shooting percentage, with their opponents averaging 16.91 goals per game and a .416 shooting percentage.
- Megan Miller leads the team in goals (17), assists (seven) and points (24).
- Debbie Phillips is the other Hawk who has scored double digits in goals with 10. She is tied for second in points (12).
- Billy McLaughlin also has 12 points with eight goals and four assists.
- Kaitlyn D'Andrea leads the team in draw controls (34) and is in second in shots (28); she has eight goals and three assists for 11 points, and is also third in ground balls (14).
