Rose Pavuk Paces 'Cats with Five Points Against UMass Lowell on Senior Day

Lacrosse seniors were honored with a post-game ceremony.
DURHAM, N.H. — The University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team fell to UMass Lowell (6-9, 2-3 AE) on Saturday afternoon (April 18) at Wildcat Stadium, dropping a 15-12 decision.
HOW IT HAPPENED
1Q
-New Hampshire opened the scoring 1:22 into the game, when Erin Fagan (Clarksburg, Md.) found Libby Boland (Victor, N.Y.) on the doorstep, who fired a shot past the goalkeeper to take a 1-0 lead.
-The Wildcats extended their lead with 11:55 to go when Rose Pavuk (York, Maine) fired a free position try home.
-UMass Lowell found their first score of the day 1:20 later to make it a 2-1 contest.
-Sarah Zwack (Weston, Conn.) found the back of the net with 9:55 to play, taking a 3-1 edge.
-The River Hawks tied things up with goals at 8:56 and 7:42.
-New Hampshire regained the lead at 5:40 off a top corner snipe from Fagan.
-Makayla Keys (Fairport, N.Y.) extended the lead at 4:19 after taking a feed from Rose Pavuk at the doorstep and rifling it home, making it 5-3.
-The Wildcats jumped out to their largest lead of the quarter at 3:36 when Rose Pavuk found Sarah Zwack with a pass from behind the net, who then directed the ball on net for her second goal of the game.
-Katie Torr (Naples, Fla.) extended the lead 1:05 later for her first-career goal, taking a feed from Zwack to make it 7-3.
-The River Hawks got a pair of goals back at the 1:44 and 47.8 marks to make it a 7-5 contest.

-UMass Lowell took their first lead of the afternoon with goals at 12:57, 9:32, and 6:46 to take an 8-7 edge.
-New Hampshire took back the lead with a pair of goals from Rose Pavuk at 5:51 and 5:33, making it 9-8.
-Julia Gronda (Pompton Plains, N.J.) extended the lead with 3:23 to go in the half, setting the score at 10-8.

-The River Hawks brought the score back to within a goal on a strike from Chiara Pompei 40 seconds into the third quarter.
-New Hampshire quickly responded, with a free position strike from Julia Gronda at 12:05 and a player-advantage goal from Rose Pavuk at 11:18 to make it a 12-9 contest.
-UMass Lowell closed the quarter with goals at 7:48 and 6:05, trailing 12-11 entering the fourth quarter.
