UNH Wraps Up Regular Season Hosting UMass Lowell

DURHAM, N.H. – In its final regular season home game of the 2019 season, the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team faces the UMass Lowell River Hawks on Thursday, October 31, at 7 P.M.
The game will decide UNH's first round postseason match up in the America East Tournament; with a win, the Wildcats host a home game on Sunday, November 3. With a loss, the Wildcats will travel for that game. A tie could either have UNH at home or on the road that Sunday, depending on other America East outcomes.
Think Pink
Thursday night's game will be UNH women's soccer's 'Think Pink' game, bringing awareness to breast cancer. The team will be wearing pink socks and fans are encouraged to wear pink to the game.
Last Time Out
• New Hampshire faced off with Stony Brook last Sunday, October 27th, and fell to the Seawolves by a score of 2-0.
• The extended game took about four hours, after a 130 minute weather delay in the first half halted play.
• Both teams kept the other off the scoreboard for the first 45 minutes; Stony Brook did its damage in the second off of a free kick that was deflected into the net and a scrum in front that got the defense out of position.

• Freshman Whitney Wiley (Vienna, Va.) and senior Kaylan Williams (Marion, Ind.) also have a team-high three assists. Wiley has tapped in four goals, two game-winners this season, while Williams has two goals on the year. Wiley is currently second on the team in points with 11, Williams is third with seven.
• Sophomore goalkeeper Cat Sheppard (Nesconset, N.Y.) in her first starting season is 8-7-0 on the year with a .827 save% and 0.875 GAA; she leads the conference in both those stats and has posted five shutouts on the season.
