UNH TO PLAY IONA:

The University of New Hampshire men's soccer team, which has won four straight games, will take on Iona on Wednesday, Sept. 12 at 7:00 p.m. at Wildcat Stadium. The game will be on ESPN+ with Brendan Glasheen and Mike Abelson on the call. ESPN+, available for $4.99/month, gives fans direct-to-consumer subscription streaming access to thousands of additional live events, on-demand content and original programming not available on ESPN's TV or digital networks. Iona won the last meeting between the teams with a 2-1 victory in Durham on Sept. 1, 2011. UNH is 2-0-0 versus MAAC teams this season with a 1-0 overtime win versus Fairfield and a 1-0 win versus Quinnipiac.
THE MATCHUP:
UNH is 4-1-0 this season, while Iona is 2-1-1. UNH nets 1.40 goals per game and allows 0.80, while Iona scores 1.50 goals per contest and allows 1.00. The Wildcats have outshot their opponents by a 74-35 margin, while the Gaels have 63 shots and their opponents have 45.
COLACCI LEADING UNH:

Junior Antonio Colacci ( Bradenton, Fla.) leads the team with three goals and one assist for seven points. He scored both goals versus Northeastern including his first career game winner. For his career he has four goals and five assists for 13 points.
UP NEXT:
The Wildcats return to action Saturday, Sept. 15, when they travel to Hanover, N.H. to take on Dartmouth at 7:00 p.m. This will be a rematch of the second round of last year's NCAA Tournament. The Wildcats won a shootout to advance to the Round of 16.

The Wildcats are 3-0-0 this season at home and are 13-0-3 at Wildcat Stadium over the last 16 games. UNH has outscored its opponents at home by a 29-7 margin over this span. Last year, UNH went 10-0-3 at Wildcat Stadium. UNH was just one of nine teams out of 205 to go undefeated at home.
