The Matchup
- Wednesday's game at Aztec Lacrosse Field will mark the inaugural meeting between the UNH and San Diego State University women's lacrosse programs.
The State of New Hampshire
- UNH has an overall record of 0-7 that includes 0-4 on the road following Monday's 15-4 loss at fourth-ranked Southern California.
- The 'Cats scored the game's first goal each of the first four games of the season. The past three games, Fairfield University raced out to a 4-0 lead, UMass opened the game with five consecutive goals and USC built a 7-0 advantage.
- UNH is averaging 7.29 goals and 22.4 shots per game while allowing averages of 14.00 goals and 30.1 shots.
- New Hampshire has scored double digits twice in seven games and the opponent has reached double figures every game.
'Cat Nips
- Junior goalkeeper Kate Clancy (Barrington, R.I.) recorded her third double-digit save effort of the season with 12 stops at fourth-ranked USC on Monday. The 12 saves match her third-highest single-game total.
- Clancy was also credited with a team-high four ground balls vs. the Trojans.
- Clancy has started all 40 games since arriving at UNH. She has a 13.73 GAA and .419 save percentage in seven games this season, and her 2017 highlights include a career-high 19-save effort in the season opener vs. Harvard.
- Junior midfielder Teagan Northrup (Longmeadow, Mass.) recorded her first career multiple-assist game with two at fourth-ranked USC. The two points matched her personal best.
- Junior attack Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored a team-high two goals at #4 USC.
- Schafer has scored a goal in 6 of 7 games this season with six multiple-goal games and that includes a career high of four at UConn (Feb. 26).
- Sophomore attack Catherine Sexton (Niskayuna, N.Y.) recorded her first multiple-point game of the season with a goal and an assist at USC.
- Carly Wooters (White Plains, N.Y.), a junior midfielder, scored a goal at Southern Cal. She has scored a goal in 6 of 7 games with four two-point efforts, including a two-goal effort at Holy Cross.
The Leaderboard
- Krissy Schafer has scored a team-high 16 goals for a team-best 16 points; she also ranks second in draw controls (12) and shooting percentage (.485), and is third in shots (33).
- Devon Croke (Norwell, Mass.) is second in goals (11) and shots (34), and third in points (12).
- Despite missing the past two games, junior midfielder Devan Miller (Bristol, R.I.) is atop the UNH leaderboard in assists (seven), ranks second in points (15) and third in goals (eight).
- Hope Kissick is UNH's leader in caused turnovers (seven) and is second in ground balls (13) as well as third in draw controls (10).
- Cat Sennott (Westford, Mass.) is No. 1 in ground balls (14) and is tied for second in caused turnovers (six).
- Carly Wooters has a team-high 39 shots and is atop the leaderboard in draw controls (18).

- Devan Miller is tied at No. 5 in assists per game.
- Krissy Schafer is ninth in goals per game.
- Carly Wooters is eighth in shots per game and Devon Croke is ninth.
- Kate Clancy is No. 2 in saves per game.
Shoot
- New Hampshire has been outshot in 5 of 7 games, but that total was close in consecutive games at Fairfield (23-20) and against UMass (24-23). At the other end of the spectrum, Harvard was +20 (43-23), and both Dartmouth and Southern California were +19.
- The bigger disparities are in shooting percentage (UNH 32.5% … Opponents 46.4%) and shots on goal percentage (UNH 71.3% … Opponents 79.6%).
Free and Clear
- UNH has scored on 9 of 36 free position shots (25.0%) in comparison to 19-for-36 (52.8%) for the opposition.
- The Wildcats struggled on clear attempts against Dartmouth College (15 of 24) and at USC (particularly in the second half; 5x10) but are a combined 82-for-93 (88.2%) in the other five games for a total of 109-136 (80.1%); in comparison, the opposition has 119 successful clears in 139 attempts (85.6%).
Up and Down
- UNH has scored two player-up goals in six opportunities through seven games. They were 1-for-1 Monday at USC, but did allow two player-down goals by the Women of Troy before that tally.

Scouting the Aztecs
- San Diego State University has a 4-2 overall record that includes 0-1 in the MPSF and 2-1 at home. The Aztecs increased their win streak to four games with last Friday's 13-12 home win against Saint Joseph's.
- Vickie Porter (16g), Kristen Hickey (12g, 3a) and Alex Watson (11g, 3a) are SDSU's top three point producers.
- Kayla Deitz (9g) and Natalie Peel (8g, 1a) give the Aztecs a balanced attack.
- Hickey is also tied for second in ground balls and is second in caused turnovers.
- Katrina Reeves leads SDSU in both of those stats with 23 GB and 15 CTO.
- Reeves has started all six games in goal and has a 10.46 GAA with a .459 save percentage.
- SDSU is averaging 12.50 goals and 30.8 shots per game while surrendering 10.00 goals and 26.8 shots per game.

- MPSF is an acronym for the Mountain Pacific Sports Federation.
