Rose Pavuk Tops 100 Career Points in Season Finale at UMBC

Pavuk becomes the first Wildcat to earn 100 points in two years.
CATONSVILLE, Md. — The University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team fell to UMBC (7-7, 2-4 AE) on Saturday afternoon (April 25) at UMBC Stadium, dropping a 16-9 decision.
HOW IT HAPPENED

-New Hampshire opened the scoring at the 12:14 mark, when Eva de Matteis (New Boston, N.H.) took a feed from Kate O'Rourke (Franklin, Mass.) at the doorstep, rifling it home for the 1-0 edge.
-The Retrievers replied with a pair of goals at 9:49 and 7:42 to take a 2-1 lead.
-The Wildcats tied it up 47 seconds later on a strike from Rose Pavuk (York, Maine).
-UMBC closed out the quarter with seven-straight goals to take a 9-2 command.

-The Retrievers extended their lead with goals at 4:51 and 3:52 to take a nine-goal advantage.
-New Hampshire got one back 1:09 later, when Rose Pavuk struck home for her second goal of the game.
