- Junior goalkeeper Kate Clancy (Barrington, R.I.) made a career-high 19 saves in the season opener against Harvard. She stopped 10 shots in the first half and nine more in the second.
- Senior attack Devon Croke (Norwell, Mass.) scored a career-high four goals in last Saturday's season opener vs. Harvard.
- Junior midfielder Devan Miller (Bristol, R.I.) recorded personal bests in both assists (three) and points (four) against Harvard.
- Junior midfielder Cat Sennott (Westford, Mass.) tallied a team-high four ground balls last Saturday.
- Junior attack Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) scored three goals and finished with a team-best three draw controls vs. Harvard.
The Captains
- Senior defender Hope Kissick (Cohasset, Mass.) and senior midfielder Marissa Gurello (Manorville, N.Y.) are this year's captains.
- Kissick tallied two ground balls and a caused turnover in the season opener vs. Harvard. Last year, Kissick led the 'Cats in both ground balls (32) and caused turnovers (18), and she ranked second in draw controls (23) en route to garnering America East All-Conference Second Team recognition. She was one of four Wildcats to record double digits in all three stats.
- Gurello scored two goals and corralled a ground ball against the Crimson. Last year, Gurello tied for fourth in goals (17) and ranked fifth in points (20). She also ranked fifth in caused turnovers and tied for fifth in ground balls.

- Goalie Kate Clancy has started all 34 games since arriving in Durham as a freshman in the 2015 season.
- She played 971 minutes, 15 seconds of a possible 1021:12 (95%) last year and compiled a 6-11 record with an 11.41 GAA and .406 save percentage. Clancy also ranked second on the team in ground balls.

The New 'Cats in Town
- The freshman class is comprised of goalkeeper Amanda Gottlieb (Canton, Conn.) and midfielders Caroline Hernon (Hampton, N.H), Rylee Leonard (Coventry, R.I.) and Michele Smith (Wantagh, N.Y.).
- The three midfielders made their collegiate debut in the Feb. 18 season opener against Harvard; all three came off the bench.

- Wildcat Stadium is the new home of UNH women's lacrosse. It opened last fall as the primary home for football and secondary site for both the men's and women's soccer teams.
- Wildcat Stadium (11,015 capacity) is the same location as the former Cowell Stadium (6,500 capacity).

- In the season opener, Harvard recorded the statistical edge in draw controls (18-13), ground balls (23-12) and turnovers (12-19).
- The tide turned in the second half, when the Crimson outscored UNH 10-3 with the significant edge in draws (10-4) and ground balls (17-8).

Scouting the Big Green
Scouting the Big Green
- Dartmouth College (Hanover, N.H.) is 1-0 following last Saturday's 11-9 victory at UMass Lowell. That game marked the coaching debut for head coach Danielle Spencer, who was an assistant coach at Northwestern University.
- Last season, the Big Green had a 7-8 overall record that included 3-4 in Ivy League play.
- DC placed fifth in the Ivy League preseason poll. They have finished fifth in the league standings each of the past three years and been picked fifth in the last three preseason polls.
- In the '17 opener, Dartmouth led 7-3 at halftime before UMass Lowell rallied to tie the score, 9-9, with 12 minutes remaining; the Big Green regained the lead with 10:55 remaining and struck again at 7:21 to close the scoring.
- Courtney Weisse had five goals while both Cara DePippo and Taryn Deck had multiple-goal games with two apiece. Goalie Kiera Vrindten stopped eight of 11 shots on goal in 40:17 to earn the win.
- Deck led last year's team in assists and ranked second in goals, points and shots.

- UNH head coach Sarah Albrecht and Dartmouth head coach Daneille Spencer are both graduates of Northwestern University.
- Albrecht, a four-year captain, graduated in '06 with two NCAA national championships; she tallied 128 goals and 71 assists for 199 points.
- Spencer graduated in '10 with three national championships; she tallied 193 goals and 45 assists for 238 points.
