Women’s Soccer Draws Siena, 0-0, to Start 2016 Campaign

DURHAM, N.H. – Sophomore Gaby Dorsey (Hubertus, Wis.) finished with three shots on goal as the University of New Hampshire women's soccer team opened the 2016 season with a 0-0 draw to Siena College at Bremner Field, Friday night.

Senior Caitlin Bucksbaum (Mendon, Vt.) received the ball and spun to her left to take a lefty rip into the keeper's arms just four minutes into the contest to start the scoring chances.
Siena's Michelle Tremblay drilled the left post with 38 minutes remaining in the opening half after pulling the ball back past a UNH defender on the left side of the box.
-2nd half-
Freshman Liz Lane (Porter, Maine) placed a corner kick inside the middle of the box where Dorsey connected on a header but the Siena goalkeeper was right in position.
-OT 2-
In the overtime period, freshmen Kaylan Williams (Marion, Ind.) connected on a 30-yard shot from the middle of the net with power, but Saints' goalkeeper Peffley collected the attempt.
