New Hampshire returns to the road to battle intrastate rival Dartmouth College on Feb. 23 at Scully-Fahey Field. Game time is 3 p.m.

THE MATCHUP
UNH has a 13-23 lifetime record against Dartmouth College. The Big Green has won each of the last four meetings and 19 of 20; UNH's only win in that span was a 9-8 victory at home Feb. 27, 2010. The last time the Wildcats won in Hanover was 1991 (9-4); since then, DC has won 11 consecutive home games in the series.

Sophomore goalkeeper Kate Clancy (Barrington, R.I.) matched her career high of 12 saves at UMass. She made nine stops in the first half to keep the 'Cats within striking distance. Clancy recorded 12 saves twice last year as a freshman.

UMASS PULLS AWAY FROM UNH
New Hampshire struck first, but UMass scored four consecutive goals and UNH never pulled closer than two goals the rest of the way in a 16-4 final Feb. 20 at Garber Field. The Minutewomen pulled away in the second half by closing the game on a 7-0 run the last 25 minutes, 30 seconds.

Junior defender Francesca LoVerde led the 'Cats in both ground balls (three) and caused turnovers (two) at UMass. LoVerde and Lizzie Suschana are atop the UNH leaderboard in caused turnovers with three. Clancy and Amy LeBel are tied for the team lead in ground balls with four. Devan Miller has a team-high three draw controls.

Senior attacker Laura McHoul entered the 2016 season as UNH's record holder for career assists with 102; she supplanted Karen Geromini, who tallied 101 assists, as the record holder last season. McHoul has one assist each of the first two games to increase that total to 104.

McHoul broke New Hampshire's single-season assist record with 39 in the 2014 season. She also holds No. 3 with 33 in 2013 and No. 5 with 30 in 2015.

SEXTON GARNERS TWO AMERICA EAST ACCOLADES
Freshman attacker Catherine Sexton was named Offensive Player of the Week and Rookie of the Week by America East on Feb. 16. Sexton recorded a team-high four points (two goals, two assists) to lead UNH to a 14-8 victory against Hofstra University in the Feb. 13 season opener at Cowell Stadium. She opened the game scoring at 3:23 to ignite a 4-0 run, and Hofstra never got closer than three goals the rest of the way. Sexton helped ensure that by recording an assist on UNH's fifth and sixth goals. She also scored a second-half goal and tallied her two goals on just three shots.

SCOUTING THE BIG GREEN
Dartmouth College (Hanover, N.H.) is 1-0 following last Saturday's 18-2 home win against America East representative UMass Lowell. The Big Green scored six consecutive goals to build a 7-1 lead and closed the game with 11 unanswered goals, including all six goals scored in the second half. DC dominated the stats with decisive advantages in ground balls (14-8), draw controls (14-8) and turnovers (14-20).

Jaclyn Leto (5g) and Taryn Deck (3g, 2a) paced the attack with five points. Courtney Weisse (3g, 1a) and Elizabeth Mastrio (1g, 3a). Charlotte Wahle made five saves in her collegiate debut.
