HANOVER, N.H. – Carly Wooters (White Plains, N.Y.) scored a career-high four goals and Kate Clancy (Barrington, R.I.) matched her career high of 12 saves, but the University of New Hampshire women's lacrosse team was edged 11-10 by Dartmouth College on Tuesday afternoon at Scully-Fahey Field.

GAME RECAP

Dartmouth scored four consecutive goals – three by Jaclyn Leto – to take its first lead of the game and build a 10-6 lead with 14:31 remaining in regulation.
UNH scored consecutive player-up goals by Laura McHoul (Westwood, Mass.) and Wooters at 5:41 and 4:18, respectively, to trim the deficit to 11-10.
Hope Kissick (Cohasset, Mass.) won possession of the ensuing draw control, but Dartmouth forced a turnover to get the ball back with 2:15 on the clock. The Big Green utilized a spread offense the rest of the way to retain possession and secure the win.
Clancy recorded 10 of her 12 saves in the first half to send the 'Cats into halftime with a 5-4 lead. She finished with 12 saves for the second consecutive game, and she was also credited with a game-high five ground balls.
New Hampshire scored the first two goals of the game on tallies by Marissa Gurello (Manorvielle, N.Y.) at 28:09 and Krissy Schafer (Longmeadow, Mass.) at 23:02.
Dartmouth pulled even, but UNH reestablished a two-goal lead, 4-2, on back-to-back goals by Wooters at 7:50 and 3:40.
Rebecca Sennott (Westford, Mass.) scored a free-position goal with 49 seconds left in the first half, but DC's Taryn Deck answered with a goal 15 seconds later.
Wooters' third goal of the game extended the Wildcats' lead to 6-4 at 28:21 of the second half, but Deck scored goals 63 seconds apart to level the score.
McHoul scored her second goal of the game – both her tallies were on free positions from the left wing – to give UNH a 7-6 lead at 23:50. That would mark New Hampshire's last lead of the game as DC went on a 4-0 spurt the next 12 minutes.
