'Cats to Host Wagner Following Thanksgiving Break (Nov. 26; 7 PM

DURHAM, N.H. - The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team is set to take on Wagner College on Saturday, Nov. 26 (7 PM) in Lundholm Gymnasium.
UP NEXT: The Wildcats head on the road for three games before returning home to host Yale on Sunday, Dec. 11 (1 PM).

The Wildcats posted an impressive come-from-behind effort to beat Bryant University, 62-60, for the first time on Tuesday. With UNH down 51-41 with less than nine minutes to play, junior guard Brittni Lai took charge. She scored 17 of her season-high 31 points in the fourth period. Lai leads the Wildcats with 15 points and 3.5 assists per game. Junior center Carlie Pogue averages 10.5 points and a team-best 7.3 rebounds and junior forward Kat Fogarty is at 8.8 points and 6.5 rebounds.
UNH evened its record at 2-2 with the win. The Wildcats play their next three games on the road, starting at Boston University on Monday night at 7. They are at Northeastern on Dec. 1, at Siena on Dec. 6 and return home against Yale on Sunday, Dec. 11 at 1 p.m. to start a three-game home-stand.
Lai Lights it Up
Junior guard Brittni Lai (pronounced LIE) did it all in UNH's 62-60 win over previously undefeated Bryant. The transfer from Marist not only scored exactly half the team's points, but made five of her six three-point shot attempts and six of her seven foul shots and contributed five rebounds, five assists and three steals.
