Fogarty Scores 11 Points in 58-38 Win Over New England College

DURHAM, N.H. – Junior Kat Fogarty (Westminster, Mass.) of the University of New Hampshire women's basketball team finished with 11 points on 4 of 7 shooting in the 58-38 win over New England College in Lundholm Gymnasium, Monday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED
UNH jumped out to a 41-11 lead at halftime. New Hampshire led 15-8 with 3:27 to play in the first period and held the Pilgrims to that number until 1:14 in the second quarter as UNH scored 22 straight points. Fogarty led UNH in the first half with 11 points on 4 of 7 shooting. She also grabbed four rebounds in the first half. Simpson finished with eight points in the half. NEC was held to 14.3 percent shooting (4 of 28) and were outrebounded by UNH 30-14.
New England outscored UNH 19-6 in the third quarter with nine points from Rene Hudson and eight from Mikala Malboeuf.
