Fogarty Grabs Nine Rebounds to Lead ’Cats in Loss at No. 15 Kentucky, 92-43

LEXINGTON, Ky. - Junior forward Kat Fogarty (Westminster, Mass.) pulled down a season-high nine rebounds and blocked three shots, but the University of New Hampshire fell at No. 15 Kentucky, 92-43, Thursday morning in front of 4,793 on "Winning Tools Education Day" in Memorial Coliseum.
UNH is now 1-2 and starts a two-game home-stand on Tuesday night at 5 p.m. against Bryant in Lundholm Gymnasium.
Kentucky, which had six players score in double figures, improves to 3-0 for the season.

The Wildcats play their next two games at home in Lundholm Gymnasium. They face Bryant on Tuesday at 5 p.m. and Wagner on Saturday, Nov. 26, also at 5 p.m.

HIGHLIGHTS
Junior guard Brittni Lai (Irvington, N.Y.) led UNH in scoring with eight points and junior center Carlie Pogue (Cincinnati, Ohio) had seven.
In addition to her nine rebounds, Fogarty scored four points. Her three blocks were high for a Wildcat this season.
Freshman guard Caroline Soucy (Beverly, Mass.) made two of her four three-point shots for a career-high six points.
HOW IT HAPPENED
Kentucky opened an early lead in the game. A Lai three-pointer with the shot clock running out in the last minute of the first period, left it 17-9 Kentucky at the end of the quarter.
The home team outscored UNH 58-20 in the middle two periods to pull away.
Kentucky had six players in double fjgures, led by the 20 of three-point specialist Makenzie Cann. Cann made six of her eight three-pointers.
Evelyn Akhator, a 6-foot-3 senior forward, had a double-double with 17 points, 11 rebounds and three assists. Senior guard Makayla Epps had 14 points and five assists.
