DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team closes its regular season home schedule on Thursday, Oct. 20 at 7 PM with Stony Brook University in town for Senior Night with a Thunderstick giveaway.
New Hampshire (6-6-3, 3-2-1 AE)
Last time out: The 'Cats fell 1-0 to Maine on Sunday during their third consecutive overtime game. Freshman Liz Lane (Porter, Maine), junior Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.), and sophomore Sydney Griffin (Hinsdale, Ill.) led the team, recording four shots each. Senior goalkeeper Mimi Borkan (Medfield, Mass.) held up for seven saves on the day.
Who to look for: Murphy leads the team in shots (55), goals (9) and total points (21). She currently tops the America East in both shots and goals. Borkan holds the number three spot in America East with a .872 save percentage this season.
