Last Undefeated Team in America East Takes on Albany (Oct. 13; 7 PM)

DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team will face off against conference rival University at Albany on Thursday, Oct. 13 (7 PM) at Bob Ford Field.
New Hampshire (6-4-3, 3-0-1 AE)
Last time out: New Hampshire took on the University of Vermont in a hard fought battle that resulted in a 1-1 double overtime tie, which keeps the Cats undefeated in America East play. Junior Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.) was the hero for the Wildcats, scoring UNH's first goal of the game in the 88th minute to tie the game at 1-1 and force overtime. Murphy's ninth goal of the season was assisted by freshman Megan Kikosicki (East Haven, Conn.) and kept the Wildcats' point streak going at four games. UNH remains as the last undefeated team in the America East with a 3-0-1 record in conference play.
Who to look for: Murphy leads the Wildcats, and all America East players, with 21 points (nine goals, three assists). Borkan is second in the league with 5.67 saves per game and holds a .840 save percentage, fourth in the league. Lane has started all 13 games this season and leads the 'Cats in assists (four) to go along with two goals for eight points.
Albany (5-7-1, 2-1-1 AE)
Last time out: The Great Danes enter this matchup off a tie as well, 2-2, against the University of Hartford last Sunday. Albany is unbeaten in its previous three games. Mariah Williams and Vivian Vega scored in the second half for the draw. Chloe Borasky picked up the tie in net with one save. Albany outshot Hartford on goal, 4-1.
Who to look for: Alexa Schneider leads the Great Danes with three goals and four assists for 10 points. Goal scoring has been shared this year as Meghan Cavanaugh, Caitlyn Paltsios and Vega all have three as well. Kiana Ruger and Mariah Williams each has two goals. Dishing passes to all the goal scorers is handled by Caroline Kopp who has tallied five this season, tied for first in the league. Borasky allows 1.09 goals per game with a .780 save percentage. Her overall record sits at 3-4-1 with three shutouts.
