- The Wildcats enter the game with a record of 3-5-3 overall and 1-1-3 in Hockey East league play.
- UNH is coming off a 6-3 home loss against No. 2 Boston College on Saturday. The Eagles took a 1-0 lead in the first, but Matt Dawson responded with a power play goal to level the score. The Eagles scored once in the second period to take a 2-1 lead into the third. After a BC goal, sophomore John Furgele brought UNH to within one to make it 3-2. BC took a 5-2 lead before Tyler Kelleher notched a goal, but the Eagles finalized the score at 6-3 with an empty net goal with under one minute to play.
- RPI comes into the game coming off a 3-2 win over Bentley University. They are 6-4-2 overall and 4-0-2 in ECAC play.
- The Wildcats hold a 24-23-0 lead in the all-time series. Most recently, the two teams played at the Whittemore Center on Nov. 25, 2014 with the Engineers prevailing, 2-1.
- Head coach Dick Umile comes into the game with a career record of 563-318-100 as he is in his 26th year at the helm of the Wildcats.
- Tyler Kelleher ranked first in the nation in points (21) points per game (1.91), assists per game (1.36) and is tied for total assists (15). Andrew Poturalski is ranked second in total points in the nation (20) and third in points per game (1.82). He is seventh in the country in goals per game (0.73).
- The Wildcats rank ninth in the country in scoring offense (3.55 goals per game) and are 13th in the country on the power play (23.2%).
- Former men's hockey player Brett Pesce ('15) scored the first goal of his NHL career Sunday against the LA Kings. His goal came against former Hockey East netminder Jonathan Quick, who played for UMass for two seasons (2005-07).
- The Wildcats will return home on Saturday, Nov. 28 to face Bentley University for the first time in program history. Puck drop is at 7 p.m.
The 'CPK' Line: The line combination of Correale, Poturalski and Kelleher has a combined total of 49 points on the year with 20 goals and 29 assists.
Multi-Point Production: Andrew Poturalski has had no fewer than two points in each game that he has record ed points in.
Keeping up with Correale: Senior forward Dan Correale has already tallied more goals this season than any of his previous seasons. Thus far, he has six while having four as a junior and sophomore and three as a rookie.

Throw the Hats! Senior alternate captain Dan Correale scored a career high three goals at UMass (Oct. 23) for his first career hat trick. It was the first hat trick for a UNH player since Grayson Downing scored three against Maine on Dec. 13, 2014.

Road Warriors: The men's hockey team will travel a total of 4,705.40 miles this season for road games. The biggest journey is 828 miles one way to Michigan State. The shortest trip is 34.4 miles to the Verizon Wireless Arena.
