2015-16: Serving as an alternate captain as voted by his teammates.
2014-15: Played in 38 of 40 games... matched his career high in goals with four and added a career best 13 assists for 17 points... had his first multi-point game of the year at Michigan (10/17) with a goal and an assist... tallied a career high three points in a 4-1 win over UConn (2/20) with one goal and two assists... fired 67 shots on the year.
2013-14: Skated in 39 of 41 games… notched a career high four goals along with seven assists for 11 points on the year… scored in UNH’s season opener against Clarkson (Oct. 11)… scored his second goal of the year against Harvard (Nov. 26)… that goal was featured in the NCAA.com Men’s Hockey Top 5 Plays of the Week at number three… scored the game-winning goal in a 6-3 win over Nebraska-Omaha (Jan. 3)… netted his fourth goal of the year during shorthanded play in a 4-3 win over Boston University (Feb. 14)… fired 45 shots during the season.
2012-13: Skated in 32 of 39 games... recorded 11 points (3g, 8a)... led all UNH rookies in points... in 23 Hockey East league games, tallied seven points (3g, 4a)... recorded an assist in the HEA quarterfinal series at Providence (03/16)... scored game-winning goal vs. Merrimack (01/26)... assisted on game-winning goal vs. Rensselaer (01/05) and at Providence (03/16)... recorded first career point with assist vs. Boston U. (10/20) in debut... career-high two assists vs. Rensselaer (01/05) ... matched personal best of two points (1g, 1a) at Boston College (02/17)... named to the Hockey East All-Academic Team.
Before UNH: Appeared in 149 games between two teams in juniors... played with Grande Prairie Storm (2009-11) of the Alberta Junior Hockey League; appeared in 120 games, recorded 109 points (35g, 74a)... played with Nanaimo Clippers of the British Columbia Hockey League (2011-12); registered 24 points (9g, 15a) in 29 games... named squad’s most exciting player.
Personal: Born August 21, 1991 in Kamloops, British Columbia, to Mike and Heather Correale… shoots left... majoring in marketing... lists favorite athlete as Michael Jordan and his father Mike as the person he admires outside of sports... His cousins Isaac MacLeod (BC - 2010-14) and Alex MacLeod (Michigan Tech - 2008-12) also played college hockey. His brother Gus has played at Lake Superior State since 2013.
