DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire women's soccer team continues conference play when they host the University of Massachusetts Lowell on Thursday, Oct. 8 (7 p.m.) at Cowell Stadium for the Think Pink game.
LAST TIME OUT FOR NEW HAMPSHIRE (5-5-3, 3-0-0 AE)
The Wildcats remain unbeaten in America East competition following a 1-0 victory over the University at Albany (Oct. 4). Sophomore Brooke Murphy (Monson, Mass.) found the back of the net just eleven minutes into the contest, off a feed from junior Kelsey Pratt (Mendon, Vt.). Junior Mimi Borkan (Medfield, Mass.) earned her fourth shutout of the season, totaling four saves in net en route to the victory.
LAST TIME OUT FOR UMASS LOWELL (3-9-0, 0-2-0 AE)
The River Hawks fell to 0-2 in conference play as a result of a 1-0 overtime loss to the University of Maine on the road (Oct. 4). Freshman Katelyn Vieira led the offensive effort for the River Hawks, recording two shots on goal.
