Will Rasid (Wilbraham, Mass.) kept the offense rolling for the Wildcats in the 21st minute, but his shot was also saved. Sophomore Jesus Tudela (Zaragoza, Spain) had a bid in the 38th minute for New Hampshire, however Moewes denied the shot to keep the game scoreless.

Ben Ramin (Baldwinsville, N.Y.) opened up the second half with a shot on goal in the 48th minute, but Moewes continued to thwart the UNH offense. Worra continued to do the same as he made a pair of saves, on in the 56th minute against Novorth and one in the 59th minute against Luca Bottoni.
UNH kept the pressure coming as senior David Schlatter (Marlton, N.J.) fired a shot just wide in the 79th minute and Fazal Nabi (Portland, Maine) took one that was saved. In the 84th minute, Ladeairous broke the 0-0 stalemate and gave the Bearcats a 1-0 lead. The goal came from a shot that found range from outside of the box.
