Men’s Soccer Selects 2026 Team Captains

Reed Cash and Max Voigt to lead the Wildcats
DURHAM, N.H. – The University of New Hampshire men's soccer program has named junior midfielder Reed Cash (Hampton Falls, N.H.) and junior back Max Voigt (Oberkotzau, Germany) as captains for the 2026 season.
"Max and Reed embody what it means to be a New Hampshire Men's Soccer player," said head coach Rich Weinrebe. "Although they come from different places and backgrounds, they share the values, work ethic and mindset that align with our mission here in Durham. They are high-character individuals who consistently demonstrate leadership and commitment both on the field and in the classroom. We are proud of the strides they have made and believe they have earned this opportunity to lead a terrific group of young men as we continue working toward our goals."
Cash appeared in 14 matches during the 2025 season and scored his first collegiate goal — the game-winner at Yale on Sept. 23. He is also a two-time member of the America East Academic Honor Roll.
Voigt has been named to the All-America East Second Team in each of his first two seasons as a Wildcat. As a freshman in 2024, he was named the America East Rookie of the Year and garnered All-ECAC Second Team recognition.
