Max Brosmer, a junior quarterback on the UNH football team, was recognized as the CAA Football Offensive Player of the Week on Monday for his performance against Stony Brook on Oct. 21.
Max helped lead the Wildcats to a 45-14 win over the Seawolves recording 356 yards of offense and five touchdowns. He earned his second-highest passer efficiency rating of the season (177.8) with 28-of-39 passing for 335 yards and four touchdowns, to four different receivers, with no interceptions.
Max also tallied 21 rushing yards, which included a 9-yard touchdown run on a fake field goal.
Max is also No. 2 in passing yards per game (321.4), No. 3 in both passing yards (2,250) and total offense (335.1 per game), No. 5 in completions per game (25.86) and No. 14 in passing efficiency (151.1) on the national leaderboard.
The No.22 UNH football team returns to action on Oct. 28 at the University of Rhode Island. The Wildcats return to Wildcat Stadium on Nov.4 (1 p.m.) as they take on Villanova University.
