Brooke Kane (Derry, N.H.) averaged 14.0 points, 5.5 rebounds, 1.5 assists and 37.5 minutes per game in two games for the UNH women's basketball team last week. Also of note, she made 50 percent of her field goal attempts.

The senior guard matched her career high of 17 points Jan. 4 vs. Binghamton University by shooting 5-for-8 from the floor, including 2-for-3 from 3-point range, and making five free throws. She also pulled down six rebounds and was credited with two assists in 38 minutes, 20 seconds.

Brooke followed that with 11 points, five rebounds and two more assists Jan. 7 at Vermont.

The UNH women's basketball team returns to action Jan. 14 at Bryant University. The Wildcats' next home game is a Jan. 21matchup vs. UMBC on Alumni Day.
