Women's Basketball America East Schedule Unveiled

BOSTON – The University of New Hampshire women's basketball team, under the guidance of second-year head coach Megan Shoniker, will play its 2025-26 conference opener Jan. 1 at Bryant University. America East announced the conference schedule Tuesday morning.
UNH's non-conference schedule was announced earlier this month and women's basketball season tickets go on sale Aug. 22.

In the opening weekend of conference play, the Wildcats also travel to play the University of Vermont on Jan. 3.
UNH's first America East home game is Jan. 8 vs. NJIT and the Wildcats' three-game homestand continues Jan. 10 against UMBC and Jan. 17 vs. the University of Maine for the first of two Buffalo Wild Wings Border Battle matchups.
The 'Cats complete the first half of the conference schedule with road games at Binghamton University (Jan. 22), UAlbany (Jan. 24) and UMass Lowell (Jan. 29).
New Hampshire ends the month Jan. 31 by welcoming Bryant to Lundholm Gym and the UVM Catamounts come to Durham for a Feb. 7 matchup.
The following weekend, UNH travels to tip off against the two southernmost America East teams – NJIT on Feb. 12 and UMBC on Feb. 14.
The Wildcats play host to UMass Lowell on Feb. 19 and then the Border Battle rivalry continues Feb. 21 at Maine.
UNH wraps up the regular season with home games against the two conference teams from the Empire State – Binghamton (Feb. 26) and UAlbany (Feb. 28) – with Senior Day on the regular-season finale vs. the Great Danes.
The America East tournament begins with the March 5 quarterfinals. The semifinals are March 9 and the championship game is March 13. All conference tourney games are at the site of each game's higher seed.
