Senior Kevin McGrath (Hopkinton, N.H.) of the UNH men's track and field team won the high jump with a height of 6 feet, 8.75 inches, which tied his career best, at the quad meet at Leverone Field House (Hanover, N.H.) against Dartmouth College, the University of Vermont and University of Maine on Dec. 11.

McGrath was named the America East Field Performer of the Week on Dec. 13 for that performance.

His mark of 6-8.75 just missed the school record of 6-9. That height is the best in America East and 20th in the nation this season. McGrath won bronze at the 2020 America East Indoor Championship, also with a jump of 6'8.75".

The Wildcats return to action at the Sorlien Memorial Invitational at Mackal Field House in Kingston, R.I. on Saturday, Jan. 15.
